There are three private sleeping cabins plus a convertible bed in the salon which makes a 4th option. Of the three private cabins, one is a full suite with queen bed and bathroom, and the other two are full beds that use the salon bathroom. The convertible salon bed is a queen, but not private by the nature of its location.
Guests may choose any sleeping arrangements they like. The crew will sleep in one of the cabins. You may also choose to sleep on deck on one of two cockpit lazarettes or in the forward hammock.
The destination will govern our departure time, but we generally plan to arrive in port around 4pm. Once in port, we'll arrange transport to shore if anchored, and then dispatch with fun!
Our aim is to arrive back at our home port by no later than 2pm on the final day of the cruise.
The typical summer in the Chesapeake bay is partly cloudy/sunny with a chance of thunderstorms. We will sail in this forecast as thunderstorms are typically visible and we can avoid them or find safe harbor while they pass. We will sail during a small craft advisory under a reefed sail plan; however, we will not set sail in a Gale warning. The final weather decision to sail or not will be determined by the Captain. If the sail is cancelled by the Captain, a full refund will be issued.
